BACKGROUND
The Wedding Party is a 2016 Nigerian romantic comedy/drama film. It premiered on 8th September 2016 at TIFF Toronto and on the 26th November 2016 at Eko Hotel Suites in Lagos. It just finally got released into the cinemas on the 16th of December, 2016.
The story line of the wedding party is about how Banky W. weds Adesua in a lavish wedding that escalated into pure Lagosian chaos. This chaos was between the bride and groom’s parents. It will interest you to note that it was produced by media mogul Mo Abudu. Directed and written by Kemi Adetiba and C0-written by Tosin Otudeko .

According to statement posted on instagram, Banky W. noted that the Queens of the Professional Fine Gyels Club of which they are: Adesua Etomi, Somkele Iyamah, Beverly Naya, Zainab Balogun were ridiculously talented and fine too. Nigerian rapper, Ikechukwu & Enyinna starred in the movie. Banky W. debuted as the lead actor but nevertheless had this to say: “U get to finally see me get married… lol at least on Camera.”
