Boxer Jake Paul to Follow Elon Musk and Donate £10 Million to End World Hunger

  • Youtuber Jake Paul has announced that he will donate £10 million to help end world hunger if Elon Musk donates to the cause
  • Paul claims gave the conditions of his tweet reaching 690,000 retweets and the Tesla boss donating $6 billion
  • This comes after UN World Food Programme chief David Beasley called on the billionaire to do more to battle hunger

YouTuber and boxer Jake Paul has promised to donate £10 million to help end world hunger if Elon Musk donates $6 billion.

Elon Musk

The social media star announced this via his Twitter account on Monday, on the condition that Musk donates $6 billion and his tweet receives 690,000 retweets.

The tweet reads:

“Yo @elonmusk if you donate $6 billion to the UN to end world hunger I’ll also donate $10 million if this gets 690k retweets,”

This is coming after Elon Musk was recently criticized by UN World Food Programme chief David Beasley for failing to do enough to tackle hunger.

During an interview with CNN, Beasley said that $6 million (2% of Musk’s worth) is enough to lift 42 million out of hunger.

According to his words, 42 million people can be saved from starving if that money is donated by the billionaire.

Musk responded to the tweet saying that he would sell Tesla stock and donate $6 billion if the UN laid out a plan to solve world hunger.

Meanwhile, Jake Paul is set to take on the half-brother of Tyson Fury, Tommy Fury in his next boxing match on 18 December.

Jake is looking to extend his boxing record to 5-0 while Fury goes into the bout at 7-0.
