Tesla CEO Elon Musk is planning to build his own city in Texas. The billionaire has approached officials of the state with a plan to create the city which will be called “Starbase”.
The World’s richest man also shared the news on his favorite social media platform, Twitter.
Musk already has his space exploration company, SpaceX based in Boca Chica Village Texas in Cameron county.
The community experienced a hurricane in 1967 that caused damage to the water system and Electricity.
Before the launch of spaceX facility in 2014, the area had a residence of only six people.

The judge’s office in Cameron county confirmed being approached by Musk.
Local authorities have stated that SpaceX will need to make a formal request before incorporating the city. They will also have to abide by all state incorporation statutes.
