The Chief Executive Officer of Apple, Tim Cook, has announced the arrival of the iPhone 12. The sleek mobile device comes in 5 different colours; white, black, red, green and blue. It was designed to be thinner and flatter in frame with a rectangular edge while being smaller in size when compared to the iPhone 11.
Apple says all the phones launched are 5G-enabled which means that their internet speed is super-fast that gives an optimal user experience. It has dual cameras and double the pixel of iPhone 11.
The Ceramic shield according to Apple is a hard-hitting screen material that will ensure longevity for the glass with a four times increase in drop performance. The XDR display has also been upgraded.
iPhone 12 mini.
Not very much different from the regular iPhone 12; same 5G-capability, dual-camera as well as the ceramic shield which is a firmer glass-protector. Obviously, the iPhone 12 mini is smaller and lighter than the iPhone 12 with a 5.4″ display.
iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max
The Pro and Pro Max are the high-end version in the collection and the models were unveiled in 4 different colours: black, gold, silver, and blue.
LiDAR scanner is embedded in both models which increases focus and create a better augmented-reality experience for users. The technology enhances autofocusing of the phone’s camera to capture low-light scenes in photos and video. Apple also claims that the iPhone 12 Pro is the first and the only phone that allows cinematographers and regular users to shoot movies in double vision, edit, watch and share with viewers. The Pro and Pro Max has a 6.1″ display and 6.7″ display screen respectively.
The new iPhone device comes with magnetic elements attached directly to the back to help it fit perfectly with wireless chargers for efficient charging
