A schoolboy who was thought to have made a lot of money from investing in Bitcoin was kidnapped by a gang in the United Kingdom.

The 14-year-old whose name wa not disclosed was abducted by 3 men outside a takeaway in Bradford in May 2021.

One of the kidnappers put his hand over the boy’s mouth as he was pushed into a car that was parked nearby.

One of the kidnappers and the owner of the car Muhammed Khubaib then activated the central luck of the vehicle and drove away.

According to the guardian, the bit was told to call his mother and demand £10,000 for his safe return.

After a discussion between both parties, they settled for £900 and she came outside to hand over the money while the boy was released.

The case was then reported to the police and Muhammed Khubaib was arrested a few days later.

He disclosed that he and the rest of the gang saw a post on social media that indicated that the boy had made a lot of money from Bitcoin.

Khubaib was sentenced to four years in prison after pleading guilty while the rest of the gang is still on the run.
