The leadership of the Nigeria Labour Congress is set to contest the government’s announcement regarding COVID 19 vaccination.

The president of NLC, Mr. Ayuba Wabba has advised the government to persuade workers to get vaccinated rather than force them.

He said:

“We urge that the tool of persuasion and conviction be used rather than force to get workers and the general populace to take the vaccine.”

Wabba made this statement while speaking at unveiling the Covid-19 vaccination Advisory for government workers in Abuja on Monday.

This is coming after the presidential steering committee on COVID, led by Boss Mustapha had made vaccination compulsory.
