Mr Mustapha stated

“These steps are critical as we begin to see worrisome early signs of increasing cases in Nigeria”,

The PSC boss also disclosed that Nigeria will sustain its restrictions on travellers from banned countries such as India, Brazil, Turkey and South Africa.

Mustapha also begged Nigerians to be careful about the spread of the virus during the Eid-el-Kabir celebrations on Tuesday and Wednesday.

According to him, the PSC will continue to do its part by minimising the risk of the importation of deadly variants from other countries.
