THE EXPERIENCE 10
Wooowww… Who is going for The Experience 10 Concert???
Growing up, I was a chorister in church even though right now, I am no longer singing because of the cares of the world but being in the choir is a little tasking plus the drama in there is mind bugling…phewww as I am sure our father in heaven sits on his throne and just shakes his head wondering if we think he doesn’t see what we shamelessly do behind his alter.
Well, who am I to judge? .
Anyways, I have been wondering why the secular musicians make it better and are popular than the gospel artistes. Its been a constant nagging question for a more than a decade on my mind. And now that I am a lot wiser and older, I have come to the realization that the earth is controlled by evil and anything that’s not spiritually sanctifying to the soul will not be appreciated and popularized as much as the secularly enticing content would be because it’s a reminder of how filthy we are.
Gbamm!
So yes! That’s my answer, I think but hey here is the biggest Christian concert in Africa orchestrated by Christians and I am totally impressed by the popularity it as gained in such a short time. Its about to happen on the 2nd of December. The concert of a lifetime tagged THE EXPERIENCE is one interdenominational Gospel concert that keeps blowing my mind.
The number of people who travel far and wide from different race, tribe and works of life to attend this concert is terrifying. The gospel event debuted in December 2006 with over 70,000 people in attendance quickly gained momentum at its second event with a quantum leap with over 700,000 people flooding in.
It’s a word based gathering of Christians convened and hosted by Pastor Paul Adefarasin and it features some of the best known musical talents of our time and mind you, The Experience is now considered as the largest musical Christian concert in Africa.
Fred Hammond, Frank Edwards, Donnie McClurkin, Hezekiah Walker, Kim Burrell, Sonnie Badu,, Nathaniel Bassey, Sammie Okposo, Midnight Crew, Micah Stampley, Julius Nglass and the Lagos City Chorale amongst others.
