If you marry on Facebook, it will crash on YouTube – Pastor Adeboye

The General Overseer of RCCG, Pastor E.A Adeboye, is at it again on his marriage lessons. If you marry on Facebook, it will crash on YouTube, Pastor Adeboye.

He said if you get a wife through Facebook, you will lose her through YouTube. Do you believe or agree?
The pastor said this while preaching at a singles programme in one of the RCCG parishes in Lagos.

So according to him, anyone who finds a life partner on social media would lose same to social media.

See his message as tweeted by RCCG-HQ. Do you agree?

“If you get a wife through Facebook, you would lose her through the Youtube.

“You can quote me.

“Any marriage that is comported through the Facebook is going to crash through the Youtube, no doubt about that.

“Our forefathers said it before me, they said it in Yoruba and the translation is what I have already given you.”

Recall that this is not the first time Pastor Adeboye would advise youths against picking their wives on social media platforms, such as Facebook.

According to him, marriages through such medium don’t last.

He said, “If you marry the modern way like on Facebook, you may likely divorce the modern way. Marry traditionally and involve God.”

Pastor Adeboye’s message on couples who meet through social media is really controversial but I kindda think it makes sense. Lol.

So, I’m thinking! Does it really matter where one meets his or her spouse?

If not that social media have become very bad platforms where lots of ills happen, what is wrong with meeting your partner on social media?

Even those we meet in churches, are they any better? Na for church the bad bad boys and girls even dey, dey hide all in the name of…whatever you wanna call it. I’m just saying o, don’t quote me. Lol.
